The Magic of GenZed

The Magic of GenZed

GenZed's world is fast with abundant source of information. They are fearless to express what they feel about this world and the people around them. They are angry for the corruption, global warming, pollution and crime. They are not people centric, they are not organization centric, all that matter to them is their work. They are able to do the work with double speed and accuracy without hanging on it much
: -Jitendra Rajaram

Time has come when 21st Century Born population have started buying, selling, meeting and deciding everything that used to be the big boy's business. Generation Z, as we call them, are the people born after 1995, who have not seen this world without wireless telecommunication. They would consider world without gadget a little awkward or even impossible. What had been a dead reality for genX or oldies is nearly unimaginable for generation Z.

When they find flat's doors locked they get pissed off and don't wait for the roommate to arrive. They call him on phone angrily and don't hesitate even to break the lock and buy new one immediately. GenZed's world is fast with abundant source of information. They are fearless to express what they feel about this world and the people around them. They are angry for the news of corruption, global environment, pollution and crime. They are not people centric, they are not organization centric, all that matter to them is their work. They are able to do the work with double speed and accuracy without hanging on it much. They are multitaskers. They text, talk, eat and work almost at the same time. They have adopted 'move on' mantra more perfectly. They love, hate, feel without getting emotionally fooled. What seems unbreakable to us they have already went past to it. They don't touch feet to show they respect, they don't bully you to show that they are mighty. They are gone if they are out of your sight. Their expressions are different and hell lot of confusing. It can cause you embarrassment if you failed to get them right.

A gadget in their hand helps them find who cares, loves, hates or talks about them. They don't identify political territories of the nation they belong to. Geographical distance is not a matter of concern anymore. The world is coming to them with no exaggeration of having come them from really far. This generation doesn’t judge on the basis of your hard work, all that they value is the result you procure. They know top is always vacant and no one can stay their without persistent efforts.

Fun and lively characteristics of GenZed have not witnessed scarcity. Their buying capacity has surpassed the buying capacity of last seven generations put together. They're vulnerable to new knowledge without bothering its source. This is fatal error because this generation still lacks one thing like every other generation i.e. patience. Earlier it was OK for youths to lose patience and explode but not anymore. Considering the speed and reach of Z's, it can be irrevocable and be a permanent damage if they lose patience. Challenge is who will coach them if no one matches them. Be it carefree attitude, risk taking ability and happy go lucky mantra. They are simply matchless, here is a little suggestion.

Education
We need to match with them, they can't stay awake in the classrooms anymore. They need technological experiments to learn. They don't fear failures, they don't mind wrong experiments, and they’re fast in giving feedback. Young students today facilitate the environment to experiment with them and learn together. It is not essential to boss them around, they respect if you take them along in the voyage of knowledge hunt. They will irk you if you handle them like boss.
They need knowledge of their world not of the world gone past with us. They are more materialistic with the education. They want to know its utility; they just can't rot on it. Talk new with them...

Opportunities
GenZed is ambitious; they'll not mind creating parallel system. They will not hesitate to alter system neither they will wait for you to handover them the system. Sooner the better, they will tighten up the seat belt and drive it their way all we can and should do is to give them the way. The later we are the more damage will happen.

Worry
Non-leveled play ground. 80% of GenZ is compromised with the resources what 20% are enjoying. This world is racing towards a future where maximum operations will take place from such machines which are alien to less-privileged section of youngsters. Call it a baggage or call it responsibility but this never so wide gap between techie youth and malnourished youth will create more complex challenges. Agony is the GenZed is not properly informed about poverty of their counterpart. Will they consider them a responsibility or will they tag them as unnecessary baggage will define the course (read curse) of present over the future.

My letter to Mr. Chetan Bhagat

Sent to bhakti@chetanbhagat.com  as on 26, August 2013, In response to Mr. Bhagat's Article  Sunday Times, 25th August 2013, Indore Edition  Dear Mr. Bhagat, This is awful that a person of your stature is out rightly supporting a cult publicly. Knowing that millions of youth will be influenced by your opinion, you should have behaved more responsibly in public. We know media is sold to Modi and international big brothers want to use Modi cult by giving rest to UPA for at least a term. For international diplomacy BJP & Congress are all alike. While these two national parties will keep wrestling over their core ideologies of being Hindu Nationalists & Secular Nationalists, they will always settle on the economic policies favoring to international markets. They will be ready to provide free flow accessibility of Indian consumers & natural resources to foreign corporate giants. It is sadly termed as a real growth of India. Because if foreign inve...

The Cusp of Democracy & Autocracy

A country where earning Rs.18 a day tags you not poor, Election Commission spends Rs.73 per voter to conduct the general election  - Jitendra Rajaram "O ut of 123 democratic countries in the world, not a single country is 100% democratic. Not a single democracy conducts 100% impartial election. In India where 36% population lives in a $1 a day, the cost of election is more than $1 a vote. The irony doesn't end here! The political parties conesting in such elections have spent more $13 to woo every single elector in 2019 General Election of India. Owing the amount of money spent, should we call it a democracy or plutocracy? Nic Cheeseman and Brian Klass wrote in the first page of their book “How to Rig an Election” with a statement “The greatest political paradox of our time is this: there are more elections than ever before, and yet the world is becoming less democratic”. The book written by Nic Cheeseman & Brian Klass, Harper Collins Publication | Yale Univers...

Theocracy Strengthens Aristocracy and Defies Democracy.

"It was easy in ancient time for religions to progress for two reasons. One every civilization was miles apart from every other civilization" - Jitendra Rajaram   "T he mixture of fear and weakness among the people who surrenders to feudalism has enlarged the idea of God-ism. The theory first coined by the power hungry ruling class and their serfs. People, when united, are the ultimate power. The select few (ruling class) always wanted to control this power of people. The control of power is all about channelizing the energy it holds. This is how the need of an imaginary superpower evolved. A superpower which can channelize the energy of united people. Ruling class invented this imaginary power to tame the real power (i.e. people).  Had I ONLY been introduced to anyone of Brahma or Allah or Moses or Christ during my childhood I would have easily believed upon god. The creators of God (i.e. Ruling Class) have devised so circumventing methods to establish...
